Who issues the certificate?
Bay Area CPR LLC is a licensed training provider for the American Red Cross. As such, all certifications are awarded by the Red Cross and are good for two years.
How do I receive my certificate?
Upon successful completion of a class, an online certificate is issued via email through the American Red Cross that provides you with anytime, anywhere access to your certification.
Digital certificates can be viewed, printed or shared online and can be accessed anytime via your email address. Each certificate includes a unique ID and a QR code which meets employment requirements and allows employers to easily confirm your certificate is valid. There is no need to carry your printed certificate around anymore!
Class participants and employers can visit https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class/digital-certificate and enter the ID found on the digital certificate (or scan the QR code with a standard QR reader using a smart device) to access a copy of the valid certificate with student training information
What is the cancellation policy for classes?
A student can cancel class enrollment up to 7 days before the start of the class, a $20 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund. If a cancellation occurs after this the following amounts are deducted from the original payment:
50% from 3 to 7 days before the event starts;
100% from 0 to 2 days before the event starts;
A student may reschedule if there is an unforeseen emergency and as long as the new class is within 30 days of the original class, there is no penalty.
How do I find out when my certification expires? What do I do if I lost my certificate?
If you have lost your certificate or are unsure when your certification expires, you can visit https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class/digital-certificate and enter your email address provided when you took the class to access your certificate and wallet card. If you are still having issues, email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
What is the minimum class size for a private class?
Bay Area CPR LLC is happy to provide private class to families or businesses. Minimum class size is 5 students. Price is dependent on class and number of students.
What is the minimum age for students to take CPR?
Students must be physically able to complete compressions on the adult and pediatric manikins. On average, we recommend the minimum age of 12.
Has CPR training and delivery changed in light of COVID-19?
All Bay Area CPR LLC classes are taught with your safety in mind. Social distancing of students, masks during class, and disinfection of manikins between classes are just a few of the precautions enacted for each class.
Our organization is interested in purchasing an AED and some first aid kits. Can you help?
