Adult First Aid/CPR and AED

Basic CPR AED and First Aid training class for the lay rescuer. This class covers adult CPR, using the AED and basic First Aid training. Students receive a 2 year certification through the American Red Cross and will receive their card after successful completion of the course.

Adult and Pediatric CPR and AED

Basic CPR and AED training for the lay rescuer. This course covers how to recognize an emergency, adult, child and infant CPR with mask, and how to use an AED. First aid for choking is also covered. A course completion card is issued at completion of class and is good for 2 years.

Basic Life Support (BLS) For The Healthcare Provider

Basic Life Support (CPR) for Health Care Providers. This course covers CPR for adult, infant & child, team CPR, AED and bag valve mask use. First aid for choking is also included. Students receive an American Red Cross certification card, valid for 2 years, upon successful course completion.

*Nursing Students – before registering for this class, please make sure your school will accept the Red Cross Basic Life Support. Some only accept Red Cross, some only accept American Heart Association, and some will accept either. It is your responsibility to check the requirements for your program. Thank you!

Babysitter Training

This full day class offers the latest information on child care with lecture and class activities in a format that is engaging, informative and fun. The curriculum is intended for students ages 11 to 15. It is important to note that in the state of Maryland, a babysitter must be 13 years of age to be left alone with a child, however those under 13 may serve as a “mother’s helper” with an adult present. Students receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course which does not expire. Topics included:
